Crockpot Apple Crisp

Yummy apple crisp that you just have to try.


6 cups Granny Smith Apples (or 6 Medium-sized Apples)
1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
1/2 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
3/4 cups Brown Sugar
1/2 cups White Sugar
1/4 cups All-purpose Flour
1/2 cups Cold Butter, Cut Into Cubes
1/2 cups Chopped Pecans
1/4 cups Chocolate chips

Preparation Instructions

Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Peel apples and cut into 1/2-inch thick slices. In a large bowl, mix apples, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice to coat. Place in the slow cooker.

In a medium bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, white sugar, flour and butter with a pastry blender or fork until crumbly. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the apples. Top with chocolate chips

Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. Serve apple crisp with ice cream.
